What You’ll Be Doing

  • Write, structure, and coordinate bid proposals, RFIs, and RFP responses for public and private sector opportunities.
  • Collaborate with technical consultants, leadership, and delivery teams to gather the necessary information and shape compelling submissions.
  • Ensure all proposals are compliant with buyer specifications, well-written, and aligned with ProtekCyber’s brand and tone.
  • Research new business opportunities through procurement portals and partner channels.
  • Maintain a library of reusable content, case studies, and templated responses.
  • Support bid qualification processes, including capture planning and bid/no-bid assessments.
  • Assist with pre-sales content, pitch decks, capability statements, and framework registrations (e.g. G-Cloud, Digital Outcomes, NCSC schemes).

Bonus Skills

  • Prior experience with public sector tendering, G-Cloud, DOS, or Cyber Essentials projects.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, Cyber Essentials) or a keen interest in the cyber industry.
  • APMP Foundation or Practitioner certification.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience writing bids, proposals, or technical documentation (cybersecurity, IT, or tech preferred — but not essential).
  • Excellent written English and ability to translate technical material into plain-language, client-focused narratives.
  • Strong attention to detail, proofreading ability, and formatting consistency.
  • Organisational skills to manage multiple deadlines and coordinate input from various stakeholders.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and online submission portals (e.g. Jaggaer, Delta, Contracts Finder).

  • Work alongside a technical team that values your contribution and empowers your creativity.
  • Access tailored professional development, training budgets, and the opportunity to shape how we grow.
